Welcome to my website that has been created for you to enjoy and to share my passion for 'color and paint'. I do not wish to merely copy a pretty picture onto canvas, but rather to capture and release the spiritual emotion and mood of the scene. Being raised in rural Alberta, Canada, I have developed a deep feeling for space, color and light. Living on "the Prairies", close to the majestic Rocky Mountains affords access to a diversity of forested nature mixed with rolling hills and fields of waving grain. I also have an extensive country garden that changes with every season. In addition, my domestic and international travels have given me abundant resources and inspiration.
As you can see in the samples above, I love to use vibrant color and to blend realism with impressionism. In my gallery you will find a number of subject categories.
I hope you will enjoy browsing through the groups of paintings on this site. I will be updating them from time to time with new works. While viewing the various gallery pages the images of paintings may appear somewhat similar for the purpose of displaying them on the screen. However, dimensions of the paintings vary substantially. Actual sizes are shown to the right of the image.
